Back to the root!

Within the bounds of the jamboree, the RaRo also want to focus on traditional values and revive perhaps forgotten skills, technics and ideals. Beyond that, we want to use our natural resources and energy as appropriate as possible. We – the RaRo-programme-team – will offer you a varied programme. In the 4 age-based program-days you can choose from a great varieties of workshops and other activities, which will take place on the camp side and the surrounding area. You will spend 2 days in a mixed group and sleep off the camp side, where you can explore and enjoy the great and beautiful landscape, the mountains and the nature itself. Meet many new scouts from near and far and establish valuable new ties!

More highlights of our RaRo-programme:

RaRo-Waste-Contest

After the wish of our founder, Baden Powell, to leave the world a bit better then we found it, we thought of something very special: the RaRo-Waste-Contest! All the hiking RaRo will get together in groups of 3 and will be given a trash bag for their way. The goal is to gather as much waste, as you can find on your way! Back on the camp side the waste will be weighed and we will nominate one winner per day. At the moment we are thinking of a big central container, where we can collect all the waste. At the end of the Jamboree we will weigh and sort the waste. We are very excited how much we can reach together!

Unplugged Evening

An evening full of fun, music and spontaneity. Together with your group, prepare contributions in form of music, theatre, comedy or anything else that makes fun and can be performed on stage. There is no limit to your creativity! The more contributions we have, the more fun we will have on this evening. The stage is yours!

Renewable and Sustained

Together with your group, build and invent a renewable source of energy or develop a sustaining gadget and bring it to the Jamboree! E.g.: an ecological cell phone charging station which can be powered with wing, sun, water or a bicycle; a little gadget for the daily life, which needs no electricity; etc…! Do not forget that the the most important thing is the careful use of resources à the best inventions will be awarded!
