Weather
In the Gastein Valley in August, there is a typical alpine summer weather. When the sun is high summer clothing is appropriate, particularly in the evening and at night the temperature can also be rather low and a jacket and a fleece pullover will not hurt – for some it might need two. Rainproof clothing, including boots or mountain boots is essential: “there is no bad weather only bad equipment.”
Infrastructure on the campsite
Normally the campsite is a meadow. Sanitary facilities, water, electricity … are just installed for the camp. Sensible use of resources in line with our camp motto is necessary.
